About

Melanie Monestere, Vice Chair, has lived a life dedicated to community service and political activism. She has served on the State Central Committee, served as a National Delegate to the Republican National Convention in 2024, knocked on doors and walked parades with candidates across Utah, knocked on doors in Arizona in 2024 to help deliver a Trump victory, and served as County Chair in Summit County.

Growing up in a rural community, Melanie learned the values of strong faith and hard work from an early age. Her favorite childhood memories are riding horses and helping out on her grandparents’ farm.

Before her political endeavors, Melanie was an estate and probate attorney for 10 years, helping clients with business and property succession, estate plans, probate, and estate litigation. Melanie also earned a college degree in business and became a certified public accountant. She has extensive work experience in accounting and tax. She believes in government accountability to taxpayers and voters, auditing, transparency in elections, and transparency for government spending.

As a wife and mother, she served her church community as a Sunday school teacher for 8 years. Melanie has many years of experience serving on nonprofit boards and chairing nonprofit fundraising events and programs.

Throughout her journey, Melanie is grateful for the steadfast support of her husband Frank, a West Point graduate and Army veteran who shares her vision of advocating for Republican platform values of faith, family, and freedom. Her servant leadership and commitment to empowering others define her role as Vice Chairwoman, dedicated to supporting the caucus/convention system, fighting for election integrity, and securing a robust future for Utah.
